Finally Nougat Is Out For Redmi 3s/3s Prime(Lineage OS 14.1 Custom ROM)

All the Redmi 3S/Prime users were waiting for the ROM based on Android Nougat. Now, the wait of android nougat 7 is over for Xiaomi Redmi 3S or Redmi 3s prime. Recently, some of the developers of Lineage OS have developed a ROM for Redmi 3s based on Android N 7.1.1. Its installation is easy and similar to that of installing other custom ROMs. You need to perform some tweaks to get the android nougat based on Lineage OS 14.1 on Redmi 3S/3S Prime. I am trying to make this tutorial as easy as possible so that you do not face any difficulty in flashing
“Lineage OS 14.1 based on Android N 7.1.1 Nougat on Redmi 3s”. I recommend following every single step properly so that you install this Lineage OS 14.1 based Android Nougat ROM perfectly on Redmi 3s.
Pre-Requisite:
1. Unlock bootloader officially: It is important to unlock the bootloader before installing any kind of custom ROM.
2.Custom Recovery TWRP: You must flash custom recovery TWRP in order to flash the Nougat based custom ROM on your Redmi 3s.

Steps To Install Android N Nougat On Redmi 3S/Prime Without Computer:

• Download both the zip files and save it in the memory card of your Redmi 3S.
• Turn off your Redmi 3S/Prime and boot your phone into the TWRP recovery mode.
• Once your phone is in recovery mode. Select Wipe<Advanced Wipe and select dalvik,data, and cache. Swipe at the bottom to wipe.
• Go back and select install. Navigate to the downloaded Nougat ROM, select it and swipe at the bottom to flash. Flashing will take about four minutes.
• Once you have successfully flashed Nougat ROM, go back and select G app and swipe it at the bottom to flash. Flashing of G apps will take longer than Nougat download.
• After flashing G Apps, go back and select add-ons file and flash it. This is because Lineage OS does not have root access and flashing of this file helps you to get the root access.
• Once the flashing is finished. Tap on reboot system and it will restart you Redmi 3S/Prime in Android Nougat.
• The first boot may take some long time but do not worry and have patience.
• You will find the new boot animation when booting into the nougat.
• Congratulations for successfully installing Android N Nougat custom ROM in Redmi 3S/Prime.
